Family Workshop: Books and Boats!

Sail away and explore original illustrations in the exhibition, Something Like A Hello: The Picture Book Art of Loren Long. Listen as the book Toy Boat, written by Randall de Sève and illustrated by Loren Long, is read aloud. Create your own three-dimensional and/or two-dimensional boat using paints, pastels, found objects, and more! Family workshops at the Orlando Museum of Art are shared art experiences for children and their families. Activities are inspired by exhibitions at the museum, and each workshop is led by a certified art educator or practicing artist. In this creative hands-on setting, families will learn about art together in a fun way.
