Jeff Rupert
Jeff Rupert headlines at Blue Bamboo Friday 11/24 & Saturday 11/25, with an opening act by jazz manouche trio Cigano Swing.
Jeff Rupert is a Yamaha performing artist, record producer, recording artist, freelance tenor saxophonist, full-time professor, Director of Jazz Studies at UCF. He leads the Flying Horse Big Band, and maintains a busy recording and performing schedule with his quartet, and as an in-demand sideman and band leader with a variety of notables. A gifted composer and arranger, Rupert is well heeled in jazz traditions from his many experiences over the years playing with greats like Benny Golson, Maynard Ferguson, and Kevin Mahogany, to name a few.

Cigano Swing is a Central Florida based gypsy jazz trio, specializing in both traditional and modern takes on Jazz Manouche. Tickets are $25.00-$35.00 and can be purchased online or at the door if the event is not sold out. Students with school ID and military with ID receive a 20% discount on the ticket price.
Lobby doors open at 7:00 p.m. Theater doors open at 7:15 p.m. (or when the performers have completed their setup, sound check and rehearsal).
