Central Florida Railroad Museum

The Central Florida Railroad Museum is located in the historic 1913 Tavares and Gulf Railroad depot, one block south of Winter Garden’s thriving historic downtown and the West Orange Trail. The extensive collection contained within the museum includes local, state and national memorabilia and photographs of railway history including a large, world-class collection of dining car china and silverware, a 1938 Fairmont motor car, a velocipede hand car and more. Junior train enthusiasts will enjoy an HO scale model train layout and an interactive Thomas wooden train set. This FREE museum located at 101 South Boyd Street is open Tuesday through Saturday (except major holidays) from 11 am – 3 pm.
