Lake Mary Historical Museum

Lake Mary has a rich and colorful history. The museum serves as a cultural center, inviting residents and visitors to become more aware of our heritage in a fun and interesting way. Admission is free. In addition to a permanent display (brochure attached) of the major periods in the city’s history, the Museum also sponsors different events each month on a variety of interesting subjects, including art, antiques, trains, quilting, and similar. In October of each year, the museum sponsors a Ghost Walk, taking participants on a guided tour of Lake Mary’s streets where they meet ghosts who share their stories with them. For those who prefer their ghost stories by candlelight, the museum also offers Candlelight Tales.Special events may require reservations and/or include a nominal admission fee.
