A&H Maitland Telephone Museum

A&H Maitland Telephone Museum

The Telephone Museum allows visitors to experience the days of early telephone service in Central Florida. In 1910, local resident Carl H. Galloway decided to improve customer service for his father’s grocery store by installing phones in the homes of his best customers, allowing them to phone in orders. The Telephone Museum details telephone technology through the years, as well as tells the story of the rise of Winter Park Telephone Company.
